Orthodox icon of Saint Susanna of Rome on thick plywood 20mm thick, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with a special varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
St. Susanna was a Christian martyr of the Diocletianic Persecution and was the daughter of Saint Gabinus of Rome. She refused to marry a pagan relative of the Emperor Diocletian and was arrested as a Christian. She was beheaded in 295. Her feast day is on August 11 and is the patron saint of the city Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
