Orthodox icon of Saint Ioannis from Karpathos on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
St. Ioannis lived in the 7th century AD. and in the churches of the island of Karpathos are many mural frescos and icons of the saint. In the book ''Philokalia'', which is a collection of texts from the Saints and Fathers of our Church, it contains two discourses of Saint Ioannis from Karpathos. His feast day is on August 25.
