Russian Orthodox icon of Kursk Root icon of the Mother of God of the Sign on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.

The Kursk Root icon of the Sign is an icon of Theotokos of the Sign, apparently painted in the 13th century and was discoverev in a forest near Kursk. The icon depicts: Theotokos, Infant Christ, the Lord Sabaoth above them, and 9 Old Testament Prophets.
