Orthodox icon of Saint Theodora the Queen on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.

Saint Theodora, was the emperor Theofilos' wife. During the Byzantine Iconoclasm she was opposed to the ban of the use of religious icons. After her husband’s death, who was an iconoclasist, she ratified the decisions made from the Z'Ecumenical Council of Nicaea and decided to fully restore the sacred images. Her relic is kept in the Metropolitan Church of Corfu. Saint Theodora celebrates on February 11th.
