Orthodox icon of Saint Panagiotis of Caesarea and New Martyr on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
Saint Panagiotis the New Martyr came from Caesarea of Cappadocia and martyred in Constantinople at the age of 20 on June 24, 1765. His remains were buried in the temple of Zoodochos Pigi. Fragment of his Holy Relic is located in the Hermitage of Saint Panteleimon of the Koutloumousiou Monastery on Mount Athos. The Orthodox Christian Church celebrates his memory on June 24 of each year.
