Orthodox icon of Saint Daniel the Stylite on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon. 

Saint Daniel the Stylite lived on the pillar for 33 years. Due to continuous standing, his feet were reportedly covered with sores, cuts, and ulcers, and the winds of Thrace sometimes stripped him of his scanty clothing. He was visited by both Emperor Leo I the Thracian and Emperor Zeno. His feast day is on 11 December and is the patron saint of prisoners.
