Orthodox icon of Saint Chloe of Corinth on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
Saint Chloe was a citizen of Corinth and a co-worker of the Apostle Paul. She was concerned about divisions forming within the Church of that city, and she rushed to Ephesus to ask Saint Paul for help (I Corinthians 1:11). From this, we can see that she loved the Body of Christ and desired unity within it. Little else is known about Chloe's life. In the ancient Church of Corinth she was commemorated on the Sunday after February 13.
