Orthodox icon of Saint Thekla Equal to Apostles on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon. 

Saint Thekla, the martyr, came from Ikonio, from an idolatrous family. She had engaged an idolater, but became a Christian when she heard the preaching of Apostle Paul himself. She followed the Apostle to Antioch and Myra of Lycia and eventually she died in peace on Mount Kalamon. Saint Thekla celebrates on September 24th.
