Saint Patrick, who lived during the fifth century, is the patron saint of Ireland and its national apostle. Born in Roman Britain, he was kidnapped and brought to Ireland as a slave at 16. He later escaped, but returned to Ireland and was credited with bringing Christianity to its people. His feast is celebrated on March 17 by Christians all around the world. Patrick's Day symbols is the shamrock, which ties back to the holiday's religious roots. As the legend goes, when St. Patrick arrived in Ireland he used the shamrock to visually explain Christianity's Holy Trinity. He is also the patron saint of engineers, excluded people, fear of snakes, against snakes and snake bites and of Nigeria.

My handpainted icons are made from natural materials that constantly interact with their environment. These above materials are sensitive to extreme light, heat and humidity.
Handling the icons should also be done cautiously; oils from our hands can stain their shiny surface. Dust can softly be removed with a pure white cloth.
Following the above simple instructions will guarantee that your icon will age gracefully through time and will be enjoyed by the generations to come.
