Orthodox icon of Saint Dinar the Queen of Hereti on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
St. Dinar was a Christian queen of Hereti. St. Dinar struggled against the king of Persia who demands a tribute from her, and threatens to remove her from the throne in case of noncompliance. The queen refuses to comply, and marches to meet the Persians. St. Dinar wins a crushing victory, and has the Persian king decapitated. Her feast day is on June 30.
