Orthodox icon of Saint Charbel/Sharbel Makhlouf on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
Saint Charbel was a 19th century hermit, who spent his life living in prayerful solitude in Lebanon. Within months of his passing, pilgrims began receiving miraculous answers to their prayers to him. When his grave was opened more than 50 years after his death, his body was found to be incorrupt, and miracles of healing increased even more, inspiring many to return to their faith and live a better Christian life.

Handling the icons should also be done cautiously; oils from our hands can stain their shiny surface. Dust can softly be removed with a pure white cloth.
