Orthodox icon of Saint Simeon of Dajbabe on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
St. Simeon was born in 1854 in Montenegro. He studied at the Kiev Theological Seminary, and at Kiev Spiritual Academy. In Kiev he was ordained a hieromonk; in 1888 he served in the Saint Nicholas Monastery on Vranjina Island and in 1889 in the Ostrog Monastery as lecturer. He constructed a church at the site of Dajbabe Monastery. The rest of his life was spent serving in the Dajbabe Monastery. He reposed on 1 April 1941.
