Orthodox icon of Saint Silas the Apostle on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
Saint Silas (1st century AD) was a leading member of the Early Christian community, who accompanied St. Paul the Apostle on his second missionary journey. He later became Bishop of Corinth, and reposed in peace. The Greek Orthodox Church celebrates St. Silas on 30 July.
