St. Stanislaus was from high nobility. At 14 he enrolled in the newly opened Jesuit College at Vienna and stayed for 3 years in the house of a Lutheran. One morning he left from Vienna and set out on foot for Augsburg, Germany; from there he went to Rome on foot. Here he was admitted as a novice by St. Francis Borgia. In 1568 Stanislaus took critically ill and 5 days later he succumbed to fever. His feast day is on November 13 and is the patron saint of novices in certain houses of formation and against palpitation and in dangerous illnesses.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
My handpainted icons are made from natural materials that constantly interact with their environment. These above materials are sensitive to extreme light, heat and humidity.
Handling the icons should also be done cautiously; oils from our hands can stain their shiny surface. Dust can softly be removed with a pure white cloth.
Following the above simple instructions will guarantee that your icon will age gracefully through time and will be enjoyed by the generations to come.
