Orthodox icon of Saint Melanie the Younger on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
Saint Melania the Younger, lived in Rome at the times when the king Honorius ruled. She soon lost her two children, her husband and her parents. But she found comfort in the word of God. She helped many people who suffered and many Christian believers. She died in Jerusalem by pleurisy. Saint Melania the Younger celebrates on December 31st.
