Saint Naum of Ochrid and Enlightener of Bulgaria
Orthodox icon of Saint Naum or Nahum of Ochrid and Enlightener of Bulgaria on thick plywood 20mm thick, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with a special varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
St. Naum was from Bulgaria and accompanied St. Clement of Ochrid when he preached the Gospel in Bulgaria. When St. Clement set off to the southwestern regions, St. Naum remained in the capital city of Plisk. Afterwards St. Naum succeeded St. Clement in a monastery on the shores of lake Ochrida, where he labored for 10 years. He died peacefully in 910. His feast day is on June 20 and December 23.
