Saint Chariton was born in Iconium in the 270s. He suffered greatly for the Faith, but was set free after the death of the Emperor Aurelian. He lived in the deserts of Palestine and brought many Jews and pagans to faith in Christ until his repose in 350. His feast is celebrated on September 28.

Orthodox icon of Saint Chariton the Confessor on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors.
