Catholic icon of Saint Asaph, Bishop of Llanelwy on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
St. Asaph was born in the 6th century and was the son of King Sawyl Penuchel from the Old North. St. Asaph was the disciple of St. Kentigern and in 573 he became Bishop of Llanelwy. He died in 596 and his feast day is on May 1 and 5.
