Orthodox icon of Saint Aristarchus the Apostle on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. St. Aristarchus accompanied Saint Paul on his journey to Rome. Along with Gaius, another Roman Macedonian, Aristarchus was seized by the mob at Ephesus and taken into the theater. Later, Aristarchus returned with Paul from Greece to Asia. At Caesarea, he embarked with Paul on a ship of Edremit bound for Myra in Lycia. Aristarchus is identified as one of the 70 Apostles and bishop of Apamea. His feast day is on September 27.
