Orthodox icon of Saint Zoe the Martyr on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
Saint Zoe martyred with her husband Nicostratus during the persecution started by Diocletian against Christians. The Saints died of suffocation after being hung upside down under fire. The memory of Saints Nicostratus and Zoe is honored by the Orthodox Christian Church on December 18 of each year.
