Catholic icon of Saint Faustina on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
In 1931 Saint Faustina, a young Polish nun, had a vision of Christ as the King of Mercy. In her Diary she recorded Jesus' message to the world urging trust in Him and mercy towards all. And at His instruction the saint directed the creation of a painting depicting this vision and message, the Divine Mercy.
