Orthodox icon of Saint Xanthippe of Spain on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
Saint Xanthippe came from Spain and her husband was lord Probos. She embraced Christianity after the preaching of the Apostle Paul and since then she devoted herself to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Together with her sister, Saint Polyxene, Saint Xanthippe devoted herself to a great Christian work, helping those in need and showing the way to true faith.
