Orthodox icon of Saint Theodore of Kythera on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. St. Theodore was born in Koroni, Peloponnese, to pious parents. A few years after their death, St. Theodore had a family and was ordained a deacon. After a pilgrimage he made to Rome, St. Theodore made the decision to follow a monastic life, first in Monemvasia and then in Kythera, which at that time was uninhabited. There, he practiced in the Christian Church of Sts. Sergius and Bacchus until his death in 922 AD. His feast day is on May 12.
