Orthodox icon of Saint Eirini Chrisovalantou on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon. 

St. Eirini was most known for being the abbess at the Monastery of Chrysovalantou. In her early life, she was promised to the Emperor Michael in marriage. Instead of allow her life to go in that direction, she decided to serve the Lord instead. She had many spiritual gifts and performed many good works for Christ. Saint Irene celebrates on July 28th and is the patron saint of fertility problems.
