Orthodox icon of Prophet Noah on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
Noah’s the Just life is mentioned in the Old Testament, in the book of Genesis. He is son to Lamech, grandson to Methuselah and the last patriarch of the Hebrew in the pre-Flood era. In the great flood, he constructed the well-known Noah's Ark and saved all the species existing on Earth. Also, Noah is referred as the first farmer, growing of the vine. At the age of 950 years Noah died. He left behind three sons, from whom the human race descended, according to the Bible. His memory is honored on November 18th.
