Orthodox icon of Our Lady of the Vine on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.

The miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary of the Vines, is kept since 1700 in the monastery of the Holy Monastery Simonopetra in Lemnos. In this icon Virgin Mary is depicted with a white garment, the characteristic color of purity, and in this way appears to the believers. The icon of our Lady of the Vine is an excellent example of ecclesiastical iconography, where the Virgin is depicted in white instead of red veil. This fact is extremely rare and is a proof of the protection of the Virgin Mary on the island of Lemnos, where the icon is located in a metochi of the Monastery of Simonos Petras.
