Orthodox icon of Saint George Karslidis of Drama on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. Saint George Karslidis was born in 1901 AD. in Argyroupoli of Pontos. From an early age he showed his devotion to God and at the age of nine he became a monk and later a deacon. He was imprisoned and humiliated by the Stalinist regime in Georgia and even sentenced to death by shooting but he was miraculously saved. In 1929 AD settled in the settlement of Taxiarches of Drama where he lived the last thirty years of his earthly life. Saint George Karslidis passed away on November 4, 1959 AD. and the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople classified him among the Saints in 2008 AD. His memory is honored by the Orthodox Christian Church on November 4 of each year.
