Orthodox icon of Saint Pericles the Martyr on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. St. Pericles was one of the Forty Martyrs who martyred in 250 AD. during the reign of Emperor Decius in Carthage, Africa. The Saints confessed their Christian faith and as a result they suffered horrible tortures and were eventually beheaded. His feast day is on April 10.
