Orthodox icon of Saint Chryssi the Martyr on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
Saint Chryssi lived in the years of the emperor Claudius and came from a rich and aristocratic family. When she was arrested by the pagans, she confessed her faith in Christ and as a result she was tortured horrifically. The Saint surrendered her pure soul to the Lord in 269 AD. Her memory is honored by the Orthodox Christian Church on January 30 of each year.
