Orthodox icon of Jesus Christ Supper at Emmaus on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
After the Resurrection, Jesus Christ met with Luke and Cleopas on the road to Emmaus. They did not recognize His resurrected body and they invited Him to come and eat with them. At the table, Jesus Christ broke the bread and gave it to them, and they recognized Him as being alive. He then vanished from their sight. Luke and Cleopas returned to the other disciples, joyfully proclaiming the Resurrection.
