Saint Joseph with Jesus Christ

Catholic icon of Saint Joseph with Jesus Christ on thick plywood 20mm thick, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with a special varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon. 

Saint Joseph was a descendant of King David and a carpenter by profession. He came from Bethlehem, but lived in Nazareth, where he married Virgin Mary. Joseph led the Virgin and the Holy Infant to Egypt, in order to protect them from the persecution of Herod. Joseph lived a few more years and died after the twelve-year-old Jesus went to the Temple. His feast day is on March 19 for Western Church, May 1 for Catholic Church, The Sunday after the Nativity of Christ for Eastern Church and Monday after 6th Sunday after feast of the Holy Cross for Armenian Church. St. Joseph is the patron saint of families, fathers, expectant mothers, unborn children, travellers, immigrants, house sellers and buyers, craftsmen, carpenters, engineers and working people.
