Saint Euthalia and her mother of the same name lived in Sicily. Mother Euthalia once saw in her dream the Holy Martyrs Alpheus, Philadelpho and Kyprino. After this incident, she and her daughter embraced the faith of Christ and were baptized. Her son Sermilianos, as soon as he was informed of the incident, tried to kill mother Euthalia, who eventually escaped. Saint Euthalia criticized her brother for his attitude. Sermilianos became angry and beheaded his sister, as another Cain. Her feast day is on March 2.

Care Instructions

My handpainted icons are made from natural materials that constantly interact with their environment. These above materials are sensitive to extreme light, heat and humidity.

Handling the icons should also be done cautiously; oils from our hands can stain their shiny surface. Dust can softly be removed with a pure white cloth.

Following the above simple instructions will guarantee that your icon will age gracefully through time and will be enjoyed by the generations to come.
