The Turks released him from prison and took him to a kafeneio(cafe). Watching the events, St. Argyrios dashed with great bravery and admirable prowess into the kafeneio and standing before the denier he said to him that he done great harm by denying Christ. Straight away the Turks rushed against him and started to beaten him and said to him to become a Muslim or else he will face death. Argyrios said he was a Christian and will die as a Christian. The Turks throw him in prison and after a few days he was hanged. The date was May 11, 1806 in the age of 18.

My handpainted icons are made from natural materials that constantly interact with their environment. These above materials are sensitive to extreme light, heat and humidity.
Handling the icons should also be done cautiously; oils from our hands can stain their shiny surface. Dust can softly be removed with a pure white cloth.
Following the above simple instructions will guarantee that your icon will age gracefully through time and will be enjoyed by the generations to come.
