Orthodox icon of Saint Longinus the Stylite on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.
St. Longinus was the assistant of St. Theophilus the Confessor and when they went to Nicaea he was also subjected to many tortures. In one of these tortures, after they put him on his back, they put on his head holy religious icons that he had with him and burned them. His feast day is on October 10.
