Orthodox icon of Saint Fotini the Ascetic of Cyprus on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.

St. Fotini was born in Rizokarpaso from humble parents. From a young age she rejected secular life and marriage, and left to live an ascetic life in a cave which she carved out herself. There, St. Fotini lived a holy life, with prayer, fasting, abstinence, virginity, and a life fully devoted to God. When she died, she was buried by faithful and devout Christians. Her feast day is on August 2 and she is considered to cure diseases of the eyes.
