St. Expeditus was a Roman centurion in Armenia. He was executed at Melitene, Turkey during the Diocletianic Persecution in 303 AD. The day he decided to become a Christian, the Devil took the form of a crow and told him to defer his conversion until the next day. St. Expeditus stamped on the bird and killed it, declaring ''I'll be a Christian today''. His feast day is on April 19 and is the patron saint for urgent causes, of merchants, seafarers and the city of Acireale, Sicily.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
My handpainted icons are made from natural materials that constantly interact with their environment. These above materials are sensitive to extreme light, heat and humidity.
Handling the icons should also be done cautiously; oils from our hands can stain their shiny surface. Dust can softly be removed with a pure white cloth.
Following the above simple instructions will guarantee that your icon will age gracefully through time and will be enjoyed by the generations to come.
