Orthodox icon of Holy New Martyr Josiah of Ethiopia on thick plywood 20mm, which does not sting and keeps its shape over time. Preparation with acrylic stucco and have been used acrylic colors. It has been covered with varnish to keep the colors undiluted in time and humidity. Hanging clip included on the back of the icon.

New Martyr Iyosiyas Fekadu Ararsa (also known as Josiah of West Welega), born June 1, 1997, was an Ethiopian pharmacy student who was martyred on February 15, 2023, after converting from Protestantism to Orthodox Christianity. He was killed for publicly professing his Orthodox faith.
